Sorry if this has been answered before.

Just bought a Motors T Speed about a month ago and love the watch. One slight issue has arisen and I wanted to check with you all to see if it is a common issue before I take the time to take it in. The hand on the 6 hour totalizer appears to go just past the 12 o'clock mark and the fifteen monute totalizer appears to sit just shy of 12 o'clock whenever the hands are reset. How consistently should these line up exactly right. They are only off by a fraction and appear to work properly when engaged.

Should these line up exactly right and what is the fix if they should? Is it something to be concerned about in the short term?

As always, your advise is appreciated.

They should line up perfectly. The good news is that if they reset consistently to the same place then it's an easy fix of just resetting the hands, it's a bigger fix if they don't alwys reset to the same position.

Have seen that a couple of times before but only on the totalizer...... Guess they would never leave the final inspection like that or would they?

I think they were perfectly aligned when I recevied the watch. The slight variable is a recent occurance. They do go to the same position everytime so that is at least some comfort.

What could cause them to come out of alignment? Would it mean a potential gear issue?

More likely that they just slipped - common if hands are reused after non official service, but unusual in a new watch.

It is a brand new watch. Does this mean I should have any concern regarding the gears?

I don't think so, it wouldn't show symptoms like this.

Local AD says I have to send back to BUSA. Bummer.

That sucks, sorry to hear that your watch has to go back to BUSA. Just recently I read in another thread here (sorry I forget who shared this info, perhaps Roff) that watches still under warrantee get priority attention at BUSA. So crossing my fingers you'll get it back in tip top shape soon

Thanks for the good wishes. Does not seem to be a big issue though.

Just checked my warranty card and the right side is filled out with the AD info punched in, but they did not sign on the left. Does that matter as I am nowhere near the place of purchase.
