Post subject: | Trade in value - Navi World |
So I recently accepted a new job that doesn't make daily wear of a Navi World very practical. I do have a SuperOcean II, and can wear that, but I'm thinking of trading in my Navi World for another, less glitzy Breitling....does anyone have any thoughts on this? What could expect to get for the Navi World (it's about a year old and in great condition of course).....just looking for some guidance. Thanks. |

From the experience I'm going through now you'd take a beating on a trade and selling outright you may want to price it at about half retail from the advice I'm getting. I'm sure other will have ideas, good luck. |

Thanks. how can the slide rule not be practical for any job/application? I don't mean it like that. I mean it's a little too flashy and delicate for my day-to-day....up until now I wore a suit to work every day and the Navi was perfect. I love it and may just keep it and buy a third, but if I can get a new ling that costs between $3K-$4K by simply handing over my Navi World it probably makes the most sense for me (financially and practically). Would love the SuperOcean Heritage. You guys think it's possible a dealer would do a straight swap? |

the only "delicate" issue i see with it is that you cant go swimming with it other than that it should hold up just like any other breitling |

The resale on breitling is CRAP! but like dadyswatch stated half of the retail on a private sale is about right. not sure about a trade in....your AD might give you a better deal if you took a more expensive watch. |

Cool. Thanks for the help guys. Knowing me, I'll go into my AD tomorrow to check out my options and end up buying a new one AND keeping the navi.....I have a nice $1000 gift card to spend. Might as well use it as a nice discount on a new watch. |

Depending on age and condition, expect to get from $2800-$3500 for a Navi World. I just sold one recently for $2800. |
