Went into my local Breitling AD today to check out the inventory and found out that as of a month ago they no longer carry Breitling. And that was the only AD in the entire state. Why does Iowa have to suck so bad!?!?! I don't even know where the nearest AD is now (from Des Moines), Kansas City maybe? I feel like I got punched in the gut. |

Sorry to hear you can't just pop in and check models out. That really sucks. Des Moines is a decent sized city. Omaha and KC are your nearest ADs.

My AD is in KC, MO. They have an awesome selection of watches and brands (even a lot of different brands stored in the back), but the best discount is 20% so.... good to look at and try on, but a little better deal could be had at the forum sponsors. |

I am in DES moines too....so josephs no longer carries them??? Is there any ad in Omaha. ? |

Yeah Josephs doesn't carry Breitling anymore and they apparently had a big sale to sell their inventory (which added to my pain -- I know they had a NOS SuperOcean I could have got dirt cheap). There is an AD in Omaha but I don't have a reason to ever go there. I frequent Chicago more. It just sucks you can't do simple things like looking at models you may potentially buy, see new models, and having the AD send in your watch for service. |

Ya, Des Moines, for the size, seems to be lacking in many many areas. High end / luxury items are not a strong suit of the town, that is for sure. At least we have like 40 insurance companies here...
