I had the same problem with mine, brand new. I sent it back for repairs under warranty. No explaination on what was wrong with it when it was returned, with a nice gift though. It started doing it again, only when cold though. When the watch is warm it doesn't do it. So I placed a Superocean in the refridgerator for 20 min, and that watch did it also. So I only wind the watch when it is warm. Now that it is summer no problems. Strange? Yes. Works fine.

Hi all Just went to wind up / put on my SOH and whilst winding in I felt a bit more resistance than usual, so I stopped winding as it had already started ticking, set the time and then tried to screw in the crown. Doing this made the watch literally shake, as if the crown being screwed down was making the rotor spin wildly. Needless to say, something is very wrong, any ideas what? I have left the watch in the box with the crown all the way out so nothing is moving. Any advice would be appreciated. Many thanks James

Just warmed mine up (not in any kind of oven!) and it's still doing the same thing

It's a bit hard to believe temperature will make the crown/stem/winding mechanism sieze up. Well, ok very extreme temps - if I left it outside in freezing weather. But just walking around in freezing temps??? I'm no expert, but it seems the whole movement would be just as likely to sieze then and the watch would stop. Weird. Sounds like it needs to go to Breitling.

I've had this happen a couple of times but it always stopped after a day or so. A couple of other people have also mentioned it recently. I can't figure out exactly what is happening - it's something to do with the way that the rotor engages with the winding mechanism I suspect, but definitely needs Breitling attention if it continues.
