Is this the best way to polish my SA and remove the micro scratches from the clasp and bracelet ? Where can you find the Cape Cod pads locally? Home Depot, Wal Mart????? |

i have a tin at home, and wondered about the 'correct technique' in buffing/removing the hairline swirls from the clasp. I've looked online but never found any real instructions. |

Dozens and dozens of threads here where people talk about what they do, but I don't think that there is much of a 'technique' - protect the parts that you don't want to get the polish on (brushed parts, crystal) and then rub. |

Ling Men, Cape Cod's were introduced here in 2007 by ADMIN. They are the best cloth for getting rid of "light" dings. However, when you get deep cuts and scratches you need a Dremel power tool. This was also mentioned by Admin several years ago. I have one now and you have to be careful with the Dremel because it can DIG into metal. If you get one you will love it and you can practice using it on other pieces of metal until you get the "feel" for it. Once you get the "Feel" you can polish to your hearts content and then use the Cape Cod's as a finishing touch. |
