Post subject:  Galactic 41 Big Date colors
Don't know if I'm reading the Breitling website incorrectly so I'll try here. The Galactic 41 is shown is several dial colors including one called Tomcat Grey. But if you order the watch with the two tone steel case it appears to be the only color that cannot be ordered with two tone. I'm wondering if that is indeed correct (let alone why). I also see that the two tone case shown on the website is just like the one on the Cockpit model it replaces. That is gold hands and hour marker indices, a gold crown, and gold at the 12, 3, 6 & 9 positions on the bezel. But a trip to my local AD found another two tone case, this one on a silver dial, but the entire bezel outer ring was gold. The AD didn't know why the difference, nor if there was a price difference. I don't see that second one on the BUSA website. I could call BUSA but thought I would ask here first. I learn more here than from any dealer!

You wouls need the latest dealer books to see the exact combinations. There are two types of two tone with gold and steel (and always have been):

B prefix which is steel bezel with gold rider tabs and rolled gold pushers and crown
C, D or G prefix which is gold bezel (C is rose, D is yellow, G is white)

Breitling recently increased the amount of gold on crown and pushers, but they are still over a steel core and not dolid gold (although Breitling still refers to them as gold).
