Head to head competition the same as last year was the runaway winner in the vote so all that I need now is 64 watches to compete and we can get started. I warn you now that I have a couple of trips coming up in the next couple of weeks so there may be a slight delay in the early rounds.

I'll keep this thread up to date as best I can with the list of watches, but please help me out a little bit:

1. Read what's already been nominated to avoid duplication!
2. Give me enough details to identify the watch - Navitimer isn't very helpful. Maybe link to the page on the site for the watch if there is one to make it very clear. I know that I will still have to clarify some, but a little basic thought goes a long way.
3. Unless stated I am going to assume that the regular model is being nominated. If you want to specifically nominate an LE please make sure that it is materially different from the regular model - a black steel for example, a dial logo isn't really different. Also, consider whether we need both in the contest or whether the regular model is sufficient.

There should be plenty of opportunity for everyone to get their favourite in before we hit the limit. I'll start by including last year's winner as that was the preferred option in the vote.

Chronomat B01

I guess the first issue. Gotta include this one in just for the sake of the fight.

Which one - the 600 piece mecha-quartz or the 25 piece automatic?

I nominate the 2008-09 SuperOcean A17360. It may not have as many fans as the mighty Navitimer 01, but its still got some fans! :cheer: :strummin:

Navi 806
Navi 809
Transocean Chrono LE (I think this is a good representative for the whole TOC range... reasonable availability, plus what I feel is nice dial options)
Top Time 810
Cosmonaute Lemania Serie Speciale (would do a good job representing the whole Lemania era of Cosmonautes)
SuperOcean Steelfish
Emergency 1

so many Breitlings w/ historical relevance & true innovations .....
no chance they'll win, but at least they should be mentioned.

Premier 765, late 1930s: among the first waterproof tricompax chronographs in the world
Chronomat 769, early 1940s: the first sliderule chronograph
Datora 784/785, early 1940s
765 Co-Pilot AVI, 1953 to early 1960s: multiple models, early 12h bezel aviator watches
1-260 Unitime, 1955: with inner rotating world time bezel
superOcean 807/1004, 1957: among the first dive watches
superOcean 2005, early/mid 60s: dive timer chronograph
Navitimer/Cosmonaute 1806/1809, 1969: (one of the) first automatic chronographs
superOcean 2105, 1969: first 20ATM automatic chronograph diver
transOcean Chrono-matic, 1969
Unitime AVI ref. 1765, 1968

and of the "modern" pieces, I'd like to add:
Montbrillant 1903 Flyback "100 ans d'aviation" ref. A35330
Navitimer Mecanique LE, ref. A11020.1
