I was at Andrew Michaels today and he got out all of his new watches for me to look at.

They were all very special, although I seemed to be constantly shocked when I looked at the price tags. I don't think this is any particular reflection on Breitling, as such, but the high end watch scene in general.

Andrew Michaels will be getting examples of all the new models in but these are the ones they will be mostly concentrating on. Very wise in my opinion. I will be looking forward to seeing the new Flying Fish and non-LE Navi 01 when they arrive shortly.

All watches modelled by Sam of Andrew Michaels because he has a larger wrist to suit the B04 and Montbrillant Legende in particular.

Apologies for the poor quality of these quick and dirty shots. The lighting in a watch showroom really is not conducive to taking pictures. All I can say is that they all look superb in the flesh.

That 1461 looks absolutely superb. I have to say, that is one non-in-house Breitling that I'd love to own. Just beautiful. (Just a shame they didn't wack that perpetual calendar module on top of a B01 base for it!)

That Chronomat B04 looks MASSIVE though. That movement is just crying out to be in a Navi World case. I'm really hoping Breitling make that.

The other two there? Naaaaah.

Not sure what I make of that black and white subdial arrangement on the Monty, it's certainly unusual but not sure whether I like it or not. The GMT looks to be a massive amount of metal - the brushed look might really help tone it down a bit.

Hey Ricardo (or indeed anyone who knows), and with a due sense of dread and a sudden fear that I'm about to fall off my chair, what's the UK list on the 1461?

I actually like the GMT. My B01 looks tiny now.

I would lie down before you read this Mr Driver.

If I recall correctly the ticket price was just over £7200 on the leather!

Wasn't the Navitimer Olympus half that price when they stopped making them in 2006?

HOW MUCH?!

Even with a healthy discount there's just no way I'd spend that.

That's the funniest thing that I've read on here in a long while.

They must be smoking some good stuff over at Breitling.

I remember when I bought my SOP brand new for ~$1200. Ah, the good 'ole days.
