I just caught sight of a couple of minor water spots on the face of my C/A, any recommendations on what to use to clean them away. Tired only water and a cloth, but am leary about using some solvent/cleaner etc... that might screw it up..please advise. thank you for your time. |

You might want to test gentle soap and plenty of water. Stay far away from any solvent, because that will only hurt your watch (especially gaskets). |

Soap and water should be just fine. I "bathed" my SuperOcean in water and Sunlight dish detergent for 10 years every 2 weeks or so with no ill effects. It sparkled like new after every wash. Just make sure to rinse well. Cheers, Carl |

Second what Carl said. I even bought a medium toothbrush (wrote WATCH ONLY on it) and scrub my daily worn Steelfish down every few weeks with soup and watch and then dry it off with a soft cloth. And I will be the first to tell you that Breitlings AR coating is TOUGH. I am obsessed with a clean crystal and my watch gets the ole hot breath and polish against the shirt about 10 times a day and still shines like new. Scott |

Good to see that there are other "clean crystal addicts". I do exactly the same and polish it many times every day.
