I did not mean to upset the harmony of the forum. |

As far as I'm concerned, there is no need to apologize. Hopefully you got some good info out of your thread. Please keep us informed on your purchase. |

![]() ![]() 11B2P, I hope that the "heated" conversation doesn't throw you off. In between the banter (most of which is harmless) there was some good information. I will leave you with this advice. Establish a relationship with your local dealer and dont be afraid to "kick the tires". Any of these watches we covet are cheap and you have to "feel" the watch before the purchase should happen. You will know when its the "right one" (this time!). |

and as a dealer, we see em all, guys who walk in and point at a watch and say "i'll take it" and some who try it on for hours at a time. do what makes you comfortable. |

Things can get heated here on occasion, and sometimes the mods have to kick some asses, but on the whole, this is a good group of guys. I certainly hope we didn't put you off. You had every right to ask the questions you did, and hopefully, as others have said, you got some good info in between the barbs. |

You did nothing to apologize for. You asked a question seeking information and some people forget that they were new guys once and needed information too. |

And as a mod I echo the other comments that have all said you have nothing to apologise for 11B2P. Questions and discussion are what all forums thrive on, as is a bit of banter between members. Sure, sometimes things can get a bit heated, but for the most part it's good natured and all part of the forum. And when it ceases to be entirely good natured, that's when we try to clam things down a bit. But back to the original point, there's no need to apologise at all. ![]() |

You know it's funny... I read the entire thread last night and when I went to comment, it was blocked! ![]() For what it's worth...I agree with mfserge... Once you have your options narrowed down to two(possibly three), hell ya I would make them resize it for me! And if they didn't want to do it I'm going somewhere else. This is the exact reason why I like to build a relationship with my AD (George), I know them and they know me. If I tell George I am stuck between this this and that, he has know problem doing what ever it takes to make me leave happy! Bottom line with Etiquette in my book... If you build a relationship with your AD you will have a more personal experience and they will have now problem doing things for you that they may not typically do for others. ![]() |

I hadn't read past the first page for no other reason than I couldn't be arsed to red through 5 pages of it, boy, what a mistake! ![]() I have just spent the last 10 minutes reading those posts and have LOL on several occasions with my colleagues wondering why I'm wetting myseld at the computer. Needless to say I'm too embarassed to tell them I'm on 'the' forum! ![]() ![]() ![]() Funniest thread I've read here for ages. Cheers |
