Hi Breitling experts, I have a different question on the subject of warranty and didnt want to hijack the other warranty thread..... Last week I bought a pre-owned Steelfish with all of the papers etc. The person who sold it to me bought it new at Tourneau in August 2010. So it has a little over a year on the Breitling warranty; and apparently Tourneau gave him a 3yr warranty that runs concurrent to the Breitlings warranty. Now I read thru both the Breitling and Tourneau warranty books, and neither one of them says anything about the warranty not being transferable. As I intend to keep this watch for a long time, I would like the watch to be registered under my name and address with Breitling (and possibly Tourneau). So what should I do? Should I take the watch and papers to a Breitling AD and have them register the watch and warranty under my name? Something else? Thanks and Mike |

BUSA doesnt transfer registration info. It stays in the name of the original purchaser. |

as long as you have the book with the date part and dealer info filled out, you are covered from busa from 2 years of the sale date. |
