Post subject:  Another warranty question

Hi Breitling experts,

I have a different question on the subject of warranty and didnt want to hijack the other warranty thread.....

Last week I bought a pre-owned Steelfish with all of the papers etc. The person who sold it to me bought it new at Tourneau in August 2010. So it has a little over a year on the Breitling warranty; and apparently Tourneau gave him a 3yr warranty that runs concurrent to the Breitlings warranty.

Now I read thru both the Breitling and Tourneau warranty books, and neither one of them says anything about the warranty not being transferable.

As I intend to keep this watch for a long time, I would like the watch to be registered under my name and address with Breitling (and possibly Tourneau). So what should I do? Should I take the watch and papers to a Breitling AD and have them register the watch and warranty under my name? Something else?

Thanks and
Mike

BUSA doesnt transfer registration info. It stays in the name of the original purchaser.

as long as you have the book with the date part and dealer info filled out, you are covered from busa from 2 years of the sale date.
