Post subject:  Replacement Boxes
Guys, have any of you had any experience of replacing a damaged Breitling box? Do Breitling or their AD's do that kind of thing (for a cost obviously) if you take your damaged box in?

Basically I just managed to drop my Bentley Motors box down the damn stairs!!!!!!!! :evil: Fortunately the watch wasn't in it (phew!) but the box sustained some nasty damage to the corners and the base section. The Bakelite box is fine, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist and it's just going to bug me having it damaged.

I could kick myself for dropping it!! :evil: :evil:

Hello Driver---Sorry about your box :( Recently, I recall a post on this subject--perhaps a search or admin could locate the thread. The comments said that Breitling would sell a box--pretty sure that was the statement. If not I have seen several on E Bay around $50 US. Sorry that I have no more information. Good Luck :) Don't hate yourself--time can make stupid mistakes fade away :lol:

Thanks Sunnyman. :thumbsup: I don't remember that thread, but I'll have a little look and see what I can find. I feel a call to my AD coming on tomorrow! :roll:

Driver8, a man with bling obsession like you should have excellent connection with his local AD I presume. And if that is true then I believe they can give you a box as a compliment!

Guess what, it happened with me and I earned myself an extra box as a compliment form my AD...give it a try maybe it will work for you :wink:

I can but try Alien13! I'll see if I can sweet talk them into it.... but they're sure to remind me about the huge discount they gave me when I bought my Motors in the first place! :?

Buy another Bentley.. get 2 boxes? :D

There's a guy in Singapore that sells genuine Ling boxes for $60 and $100 for the old or new style respectively. I dont know if he has the Bentley ones though.
