On Saturday, the Loss Management company working on behalf of the insurance company shipped me a spending card which can be spent in 1500 jewellers. I went to Andrew Michaels today and was helped a lot by Sam and Andrew.

I wanted a stainless Airwolf, not a black Raven. And although it is discontinued, they seem to have plenty, so when I found this out, they were always gonna be my first stop, a 120 mile drive to there for me. The shop is amazing to be honest. Never seen so many Breitlings in one place, by a HUGE margin. It would appear they have everything you can imagine..!!

They looked after me and gave me a goodly amount of discount off the RRP. Sam gave me a chance to look at other face colours, starburst, without starburst etc, and, to me it became clear that it is best to see the colours for real as you get a better idea.

So now I am back in the Breitling fold with a Stainless Airwolf, with Blue starburst. I will miss my Blue face B1, I had it for nearly 12 years, I would have been just as happy had they fixed it and spruced it up, but, they didnt, and this Airwolf is just as good looking and will keep me just as happy..!!!

Congratulations on the Airwolf, I'm on my third, my first was a Blue Turbine dial and now this is my second Silver dial version which I absolutely love. (I nearly sold it so glad I didn't  ).
It's slightly bigger than the B1 and I know not everyone likes the new style dial or compass bezel but IMHO it's stunning and now the Airwolf Raven is out the models with the silver brushed bezel are relatively rare particulalry with the Pin striped Non-Turbine dial as pictured here.

Dave (DamnFoolMan) from this forum took a great picture of his old one which he doesn't mind me posting....put's my photoskills to shame.
