Some might remember my smashed my B1 whilst walking past a door handle.

Well, 4 to 5 weeks later, and the Loss management company that assessed everything have told me that they have approved a replacement. I am getting a card called a Gem card to spend at any of 1600 jewellers. I spoke to some local AD's and also Andrew Michaels. Sam at Andrew Michaels did a great price for me to have a new Airwolf in full stanless (Not raven black - yuk).. I just have to add a few hundred quid to the Gem card value that they have given me.

So well happy, expecting the card any day in the mail, at which point I will hot foot it over to Newark and get it..

I could have got a 100% used B1 and had a bit of change, but decided that there is not so much difference between the 2 watches, and I DO like the newer Airwolf.

TBH, I dont like the raven in colour, but also, I am not sure about the longevity of the black colouring on the bezel if constantly wearing a watch..??

Hiya,

That's good the insurance has paid, the premium somehow does not look so bad when you have too claim and it's sorted fairly.

I'm still waiting for my B1 to be returned from BUK...

Patience patience....

Enjoy the Airwolf, you'll notice the backlight is better than on your old B1 for sure.

Davey
