This will please some of you! On the Breitling website, the dial options for the Navitimer 01 now includes a black dial with arabics.

I like my batons better, but I know some strongly prefer arabics. Also, I hate the gold wings; I much prefer the white gold wings on the LE Navi.

Now if Breitling would just come out with a white dial Navi 01, I think everyone would be happy.

Very cool! I prefer the batons, but this is nice. Interestingly they've decided to use smaller numbers, instead of cutting off the 10/8/7/5/4/2. Either that or the extra couple of mm's on the case frees up some space.

I like both, but if I had to choose I'd also go with the batons. I'm just surprised there's not more love for this as quite a few people have been going on about wanting arabics. Guess those people haven't seen it yet.....

However I can safely say I much prefer the non-LE to the LE version. The gold wings is more like the old painted gold wings on the out-going Navi which I really like, but it's the black date wheel that really seals it. The only thing that would be nice is a DB, but the dial more than compensates IMO.

I prefer the batons as well, I'm not sure about this. I like the smaller font as Ian says, but the numbers just look 'odd' - not sure what it is, but they don't look quite right to me.

Maybe they should do a Buck Rogers font version? Can you imagine...

I like it. I'm not sure which one I like better. If the LE had a black date, it'd be perfect.

I wonder why the date is always at an angle? Am I the only one that doesn't like the angled date?

I definitely like the arabics over batons. Gives it much more of a tool/instrument look dating back to Breitling's roots.

I love the non "cut-off" Arabics. Matches all the Cossies perfectly. I also like the aesthetic balance of the 6,9,12 subdial configuration (opposite the crown and chrono pushers) vice the more popular and classic "tri-compax" on the caliber 23 and B01 Navi's. Below is my all time favorite Navitimer... :)
Best,
Ron

The arabic numbers option is a good addition to the Navitimer 01. However, they should also have an option to have the silver or gold applied Breitling logo and a sapphire case back. The latter being a sad omission in my opinion.
