I have seen pics of the GMT but I have two questions for the experts on here:

1) When will the AD start stocking?
2) How much is it going to be in the US?

Cheers guys

mrnavitimer,

My AD said about $9500 retail and I didn't ask if that includes the Speed Bracelet

WOW, that's less that I thought it'd be. If the exchange rate stays the same that's going to be good purchase. (I'm still a little unsure about those off-set lugs, but as soon as I get hold of one in my hands I'm sure I'll be 100% convinced!)

My AD told me not to expect any of the Basel 2008 models in store here until around September this year, although Alien (in Austria) has his first 2008 models in store already.

No chance Ling Man! Rubber has no place on a Bentley. And while I like the odd strap or two in my collection I think those offet lugs will only suit the bracelet.

Driver8,

That's good to hear, now I think it's time you look into a Diamond Bezel for the Bentley. If you asked me a year ago if I wanted one I'd say NO WAY, now that I have one I'm blown away with how much better I like my Bentley and it makes the Bentley thicker if you get the right one like mine.

I'm going to hold out on the diamonds for a while yet Ling Man. They just don't do it for me, and I really like the standard Bentley bezels. Never say never though!

 Yeah yeah, I know!

As far as diamonds go, then I think OE Breitling diamonds are the nicest, but personally I'd rather spend the cash on another watch.

The Bentley GT in stainless pricing is as follows:

Leather w/deployant is $6,595
Croc w/deployant is $6,915
Steel Speed is $7,695

The Bentley GT Racing is the same as above except the Steel Speed bracelet is $100 more at $7,795

The prices are US...

So acceldebt does that mean that a nice Panerai might be on your wrist some day?

Speaking of never say never, I used to hate PAMs from pics I saw online, and now look were we are!!!

Back to the subject, the Bentley GMT is one sweet watch. The best new Breitling by far in my opinion. I was actually contemplating it but the price increase on all models made me look elsewhere. Would have been cool to have a Breitling GMT as I love GMt watches and that is the only nice Ling GMT.

Bere4421,

we are not talking about the Bentley "GT" here, we are talking about the new Bentley G-M-T

No Altair you will never see me with any Gymnasium Wall Clocks on my wrist. As far as I'm concerned the only thing worse are those Bell and Ross watches, those are Police Station wall clocks !

Altair,

I just looked them up and you are right they are pretty bad but I still don't think they are as bad as those Bell and Ross watches. Those things just have ABSOLUTELY NOTHING going for them. It's just a big, square box with a PLAIN dial and nothing else. I wouldn't give you a Nickel for one of those. There's watches you can buy in the $500 range that look a Hell of a lot cooler than those.
