I'm new to Breitling timepieces but greatly appreciate their style. I recently purchased a Rolex Submariner Date a few months ago. I'm thinking of adding to my collection with the newly redesigned 2010-11 Superocean Professional in black (pictured below on the left). Any suggestions? I know they're both very similar in design/style but i like that look very much. Also, what does it retail for? I keep seeing conflicting prices. Thanks. |

I don't believe you will find the SOII and Sub too similar. Very different looks, profiles, feel, one on a polished bracelet, one all brushed, one with a glistening dial/bezel(if the ceramic one), the other not so. If you like it, go for it. After discount you will pay about 1/3 of what the Sub cost you. |

Personally, I'd go for something not in that style since you already have what many consider to be the original diver's watch, but it's you and you like the style. |

The SOII is a gorgeous timepiece! I absolutely love it. IMO, The 42mm case is perfect. It'll be a little larger then your sub. I'm sure you'll enjoy it! |

As Tom said, the feel will be quite different though. |
