Will they honor the listed price, or cancel the order and increase due to the new pricing on the 5th? I am looking at ordering a Steelfish from Gemnation for $1900 but I can also do Ebay at $1995 which that is a legal contract to sell at that price..any thoughts??

Is this on a bracelet? If so, jump on it as they are officially $2945 on Monday!

Im sure youll get the price that it is when you add it to your cart, as long as its not a significant error on their part. If not, that just means that theyre a shady company that you shouldnt be dealing with anyways.

Yes it is on a bracelet, but should I get the $1995 on Ebay, since it locks the seller into that price, or place the order online for a few bucks less for $1900 but possibly run the risk of the order getting cancelled? Any thoughts?

I think that you will be ok. I think that authenticwatches has already increased there pricing though?

Not on thier ebay listings..someone mentioned that prestigetime did. Also Gemnation $1900 for a steelfish seems great, that is the best I have found

I'm sure that, once you put the watch into your cart, the price is locked in. I've never dealt with Gemnation, but I've bought several times from Authenticwatches without a problem.

As a side note, I noticed that the Steelfish at Gemnation has the serial number intact, while the same watch at Authenticwatches does not. I'm not sure if that is a concern for you, but it will certainly affect potential resale value.

I see from the other post that you ended up with gemnation, which was probably a better bet not only for the price, but also for the serials. The auction for authentic watches is deceptive because their site mentions that serials are removed unless specifically stated otherwise. The auction doesnt mention that they are removed, nor does it let you know that the fact that they dont mention it, means that there are NO SERIALS. Bad imo.

Yeah, as RJ mentioned, if you go to Authenticwatches site it says that the serials are removed (or "decoded" lol) unless the description states that they are intact. I called Authenticwatches and they said that it depends on what wholesaler sold them that particular batch of watches. I got my Skyland from them and the serial is intact but a Steelfish that was originally from them (that I bought second hand) has no serial number.

Thank you guys, because of your info I did choose gemnation. The watch comes with all paperwork, tags etc and they even give a free wodden box with it. Should arrive Wed!

Hope you'll get it on Wednesday then!

I think you made the right choice - especially if all papers are there. Authenticwatches will never send all papers - they (or their source) keep the warranty and sometimes the COSC.
