I actually like the Galactic Chrono. And its 44mm which is a great size. How much will this one cost? :lingsrock:

Neither do I. I saw it earlier but didnt bother responding since I figured I must be missing something. Only thing I could pick out was that the bracelet is obviously photoshopped onto the watch.

:yeahthat Beyond that, I don't get his point. Even with that, I still don't get his point, since obviously the watch doesn't actually look like that in reality.

That's one of the few things I like with a 2011 lineup.
With a small wrist and preference to wear smaller watches, 2,5mm makes a difference.

Same here. With a brushed bezel (or with a now classic bezel from the Evo) I would totally fall for the Chronomat 41. Size-wise and heft-wise it'd be a better choice for me than the 43.5mm Chronomat B01.

I'd also love a Blackbird in 41mm. Chronomat 41 with all brushed finish would be a perfect start.

Agreed. The Chronomat 41 is not far from the perfect watch. Wishes still open, in the order of importance:
-weekday feature
-big date at 12
-date on the existing place, but vertical digits
-no asymmetrical frame on dial
-alternative solution to day-date: traditional simple full calender (day and month window at 12, date hand from centre)
-Fly-back function
-more precise (=classical, minutely) bezel engraving
-movement: balance bridge, direct rate adjustability, maybe Breguet spring, balance wheel ad hairspring from non-magnetic material
-display back
-white 3 small hands (blackeye-blue dial for me), can be painted white later, but nicer from factory.
-double pusher quick adjust Ocaen Racer clasp for Pilot (again can be made after-market, like I did with my ProII. bracelet of the CSO with adding the folding clasp of the Ocean Racer).

I'd be happy to know the
-Germany retail price on Pilot bracelet, the
-planned date of delivery to the AD-s, the
-exact case height (with domed glass) and the
-total weight on Pilot bracelet. Some wrist shots maybe:)
In the end a watch that can be compared with advantages to the Daytona (non-plus-ultra for many) in almost every aspect - exception might be the complete escapement and clasp, while postive outcome goes to the turning bezel, the date, the better lume, the better waterresistance and the nicer dial color combo of blue and black, maybe better price too.

So much for today. Best, Robert
