Dear All, what are the differences between Pro1 and Pro2 bracelets. it would be even better if you enrich the replies with photos thanx in advance. |

No pics unfortunately, but basically, the Pro I links are straight cut (i.e. not the "slash-cut" diagonal links on all current Breitling bracelets). The centre row is also slightly thicker than the outer rows. The clasp is raised slightly in the middle at one end to mimic the higher centre link of the bracelet. In contrast the Pro II has diagonal "slash-cut" links. The centre links are the same height at the outer links so it sits flatter on the wrist. The clasp is also flatter as a result. Basically the Pro II brings it in line with the look of all other current Breitling bracelets. On a technical level, the Pro II has less lateral play than the Pro I and just feels more sturdy IMHO. I've had watches with both and for me the Pro II wins hands down. |

Pictures of both should be fairly easy to find on the web. To add to what Driver8 had to say, the Pro I on my Chrono Avenger tapers from 22mm to 18mm. After getting my Steelfish on a Pro II (which goes from 22mm to 20mm), I started to feel that the Pro I looked odd - small bracelet on a huge watch. It doesn't seem like much, but the Pro I looks really skinny at the clasp, it doesn't quite match the chunky character of the CA. I also echo what Driver8 said, the Pro I has a lot of side to side play, it feels very loose. Because of all this, I just ordered a Pro II for my CA today, I think it matches the look of the watch much better than the Pro I. |

The Pro 1 tapers toward the clasp, has the addition of the diver's extension, and is more flexible than the Pro 2. For the titanium Avengers, I find the Pro 1 to be more comfortable than the Pro 2. The flexibility of the bracelet is comfortable for me and the watch is so light it doesn't need much of a bracelet to keep it centerered on my wrist. The difference in fit and feet is very minor though. I wear both bracelets on different watches and I only notice the difference when I immediately change watches. After a few minutes I can't tell which bracelet I am wearing unless I look. Which strap is more comfortable for you will depend on where on your wrist you wear the watch, how tight you like the bracelet etc. The Pro 2 bracelet is more bracelet than the Pro 1, and has more Bling, if titanium bracelets have Bling. |
