Get out and save a few bucks before next Monday in the US. Not sure about everywhere else.

Most stainless models up 18%. Two-tones up 15%, and all gold up 13%,

Just a few examples:

Steelfish with bracelet from $2520 to $2945
SA with bracelet up from $3995 to $4550
Chronomat stainless on bracelet up from $5100 to $5840

Whoa! 18% on SS is LOT! I bet the UK will follow suit.... and considering our higher Rip-Off-Britain prices it'll make for a bleak watch-buying future. GREAT!

WOW ! :o Talked with two AD,s in the carribean yesterday and they told me that their price increase would be effective on May 8, 2008 and that it would be a 15% on steel and 18% on two tone. GULP :( That is a biggie increase :o

Even paying full price in the states is still cheaper now than the UK, wait til we get our 18% added

My recent purchase for example

Navi world/steel.....current rrp 3530 GBP, new price = 4165 GBP or (using 1.9$-1GBP)........ $7913

guess my discounted price of 3kgbp from an AD was pretty good (for the UK)

Crikey Doc, those figures certainly put it into perspective....

Makes me even more chuffed about by Motors purchase earlier this year. 30% off from an AD which in real terms after the price rise next week will actually be the same as a 50% discount. Cool!!

Those figures look a bit messed up. I would imagine that with the current price of gold, the TT models would go up more than the SS.

You would think that gold would be raised more, but the steels are the hottest sellers and can absorb an increase easier. Even with their increased prices in the steel product line they are still below or at entry level prices of other brands.

AGREED. I got the same deal...Debating if I would lock up on the NaviTimer World on Croc though, bc I wil eventually get it for sure but my stocks right now are making a killing...hm....

Buy something tangible or intangible thatll make me sure bucks? hmmmmmm

Some sites I have noticed already that they have adjusted the prices already...authenticwatches.com interwatches.com is another that I have noticed.

Hope all of you that were trying to "LOCK UP" the old pricing on a new Breitling before Monday are able to do it. I just got off the phone with my AD who informed me that they already upped the prices. Crap.

BTW the bronze dialed 6.75 I was looking at before, went up $835 on the MSRP. She said the Bentley models would she the biggest hike. And even more awesome is the discount on the Bentley line is less than other Breitlings models.

She also informed me that the owner "magically" found a Blacksteel in the safe and conveniently enough its priced at the new levels and he (owner) will not allow ANY discounts on it. Limited or not I am not spending $5340 on that watch.

I was really thinking about a new Breitling this week but this price hike of Breitling, basically just erases my prior discount amount.

I may start looking online...... or maybe a different brand for the next watch. :(

Man am I bummed right now.

Bronco, there are AD's that will sell you a watch at the current price through tomorrow. The problem is they will have to re-order the watch by tomorrow afternoon (Friday the 2nd)and if it's not in stock tomorrow and locked in they will have to pay the replacement cost with the increased price.

I'm actually scouring on-line for a certain piece that I want at the moment, so I think a few more of us will end up considering the internet route for a while... at least until we "get used to" the price rises.

sucks about the price hike but it was coming though...

good news for the ling owners is that our watches will maintain/increase in value but bad news for those seeking to purchase that first ling...theres sitll time though to lock in those purchases during the weekend though!
