So i here about all the different things people have received other than the hat, does anyone know how Breitlings promo gear is issued. Do certain items go with certain watches or do you receive different things with the more Breitlings you buy. Or is there just some guy in CT randomly pulling names for the good stuff like jackets and pens. kinda weird my dad has a chrono cockpit that he bought in 96 and my moms lady j that was bought when Jesus was a baby and he still gets random stuff sent, I have a chronocockpit that i bought last year and received my hat, ( I am one the weirdos that were it often i actully like the way it fits), but i am getting ready to pull the trigger ( after long and hard comparison with the omega) on a superocean 2 just wondering if i will get another hat or if its like a carnival and the swag gets bigger?

They try not to send you the same stuff. If you buy a normal stainless model, you get a hat first, followed by a wenger knife, then something like a lighter or pen etc.. You can bypass a lot of stuff by buying a very expensive model like a solid gold piece. That might jump you straight up to a jacket or an Hermes tie or a backpack or something like that. A lot of calibre 01 buyers were getting a copy of "The Book," but im not sure if thats still going on. As long as the watches are registered to you, you should get something different. If you get a duplicate, give them a call and theyll probably send you something else.

Ok I've read a lot about free stuff, Breitling gifts, "swag", and AD comp gifts and have questions. I received a hat with my first Breitling, a hat and "The Book" with my second (both at time of purchase) and another hat with my third. The AD for the third told me to also be on the lookout for something direct from Breitling. I knew that Breitling sent stuff but naively thought the freebees at time of purchase covered what should have been sent by Breitling. My question is this...was I supposed to get something from Breitling for the first two watches? I am familiar with the card that you fill out at time of purchase with name, address, e-mail, phone# etc. I filled it out on the third, thought I filled it out on the second but have no idea if I did on the first. I do not have the cards with any paperwork/certificates that are in the boxes so I guess I filled them out. If I did fill them out but were never sent to Breitling by the AD, are my watches registered? I know this is a huge reply on this post but I am at my third Breitling now and kind of feel like nube when it comes to this subject. I am looking forward to my fifth so I can get the jacket, so I've read. Thanks.

All this so called "free" stuff is mostly for you guys in the States and/or Canada, nothing like that here in Europe  , except maybe a cap here or there. Even for those of us close to the final source (initial source should be in China).

In Canada gifts are sent to the AD for distribution. It would be down to the individual AD to determine whether they want to give you anything other than the hat - the jacket may be a stretch for a single purchase (even if the AD has one).

That's a frequent problem, an AD sends a gift without thinking what he's sending or to whom, it's just a name on a list, while, apparently, no history is kept to what has already been sent or to whom.

That's why members here have received the same gift 2 or 3 times, while others are still waiting for theirs  :guns:

Andrew Michaels is usually at Biggin Hill, Waddington and RIAT Fairford. Join AMOC/his mailing list (link at top of page) and you'll get an invite to the Breitling enclosure at these shows.
