Post subject: | Breitling Bracelet Pro 1 894A, should I sell it etc... |
Hi all, I feel a bit stupid posting this but I read the rules & shouldn't be listing something for sale without a price. I've got this bracelet in its box, it was worn for a few weeks (maybe 6?) while I was waiting for my Pro II bracelet to arrive. The bracelet is off a 2006 Super Ocean Steelfish X-Plus. The flash photos are not very flattering but make the light scratches very visible. ![]() ![]() From the pictures you can see its a 894A, the bracelet marked S1905 I was after some guidance about it's possible value. Yes it's worth what someone will pay for it but I have no idea as I can't find any for sale on the net. I found a site that said it was approx $550 new. I'm also after feedback on the benefits of keeping the original bracelet. While it's not a top end model it was only produced for a year or so. If I sell the bracelet I doubt I'll ever find another one if I change my mind. I don't intend to sell the watch but perhaps, down the track, if I did, having the original bracelet might help the sale price? She's my daily watch but I am planning on adding a navitimer world to my collection really soon. I won't ever fit the Pro I while I wear her but just typing this message I must admit I have reservations about splitting the bracelet from the watch. I'd appreciate feedback, even it it's to tell me I'm nuts & should get a life ![]() I fell for this watch in 2006 and she's as beautiful as ever... Cheers, Mike |
