Acceldebt,

With your post about becoming LingMan I thought that I would post this just for you. I was browsing around the magazine section a few months ago and I remembered this picture...I actually ended up buying the magazine just for the article also.

You can clearly see that Mr. DeNiro is wearing a Motors white face with diamond bezel...I actually read the article and they were saying that DeNiro and 50 cent were messing around during the shoot and DeNiro put on 50's watch for a few shots. But who knows, I am sure that DeNiro ended up picking a Ling afterwards...

Enjoy guys!

In my opinion,

Deniro is one of the greatest actors in the world. He does a great job "Playing" a Ginzo in the movies, unfortunately in real life he's a FLAMING LIBERAL Democrat so in real life he's not a real Ginzo. But I will still always enjoy and respect his acting ability. Maybe if he wears that Bentley and it actually does have the correct Diamond bezel like mine he will in fact become a real Ginzo in real life one day, we can only hope. Either way I will ALWAYS enjoy his acting.

No matter if he's a liberal or recession denying Republican, I still dig the shit out of his movies. One of the greatest actors of our time.

Love his directorial debut A Bronx Tale.

Did anyone see the SNL episode he hosted a few years ago?

Admin,

Probably LINGS, but from what I have been seeing lately on TV and elsewhere. EVERYONE wears LINGS. It's possible that if this LING thing keeps up, LINGS may become an expensive Timex or Casio. The "exclusivity" of LINGS is going down the tubes. REAL guy's like you, me, Altair and Driver8 may have to switch to Bucherer's ! All 4 of us would agree that the Bucherer Patravi Traveltech GMT is the way to go. Let's face it, if you want what Driver8 says, to the tune of "a big lump of polished LING" on your wrist" which is when and where I really knew he was OK, where are you going to turn but Bucherer ? You can't get the size, thickness. fine craftmanship, AWESOME bracelets or SUBSTANTIAL "heft" of a LING anywhere else. These days LINGS are showing up EVERYWHERE.

I have to agree with you there, Ling Man. The Traveltec GMT is an awesome piece of kit. $10K or there abouts. Comparable to a Bentley Motors in this country. Pretty reasonable for such a great looking timepiece.
