Hey Guys,

I fancy a change....

Could I send my SA off to Breitling for a different colour dial?

I have a White stencil and would like to go for a black dial maybe batons or stencil.

Anyone done this?

Or would I be better selling my White one and just buying a black one?

Thing is I bought mine new and don't really want a used one lol

Cheers

Discussed many times on here - it will cost you about $1,200 including a mandatory full service, and you won't get the old dial back. Financially you are much better off selling and buying a different one.

you could also buy a genuine SA dial in ebay, there are a few, and ask a local watchman to swap them, the problem are the hands.

anyway just a suggestion

The watch can also never go back to Breitling for service if you do that.

I inquired with BUSA about changing the dial on one of my prior Breitling and they said it starts at a MINIMUM of $700 but would most likely be more. The need the watch in hand to quote a price. It didn't make financial sense to me to do that...as previously suggested you're better off selling it and buying the one you really want.

Because they will say that the watch differs from their records and will either refuse to service it, or more likely change it back to the original colour dial at your expense.

I've done it!

Sent my watch in to BREITLING last week to get my White stencil dial replaced with the black batons dial and a full service.

I know it's a expensive option....but I bought my watch new from my local ad and I didn't want t sell it and buy a secondhand watch just to have a different colour dial.

So now the waiting begins :strummin:

I've a nasty idea you might find that is just for the dial/hand change.

Couple of years ago a mate was quoted £620 for a dial change as I recall.

Price increases/VAT increase etc. Worth a check.
