Fellow members,
I spoke with a Breitling Rep last night who was at a local AD and they said that next year, and limited edition Airwolf will be released. Basically, it's a SS Airwolf, except that at nine o'clock it has a seal to commemorate 100 years of Naval Aviation. There are baton markers at the rest of the positions (no cut off "6", etc). The bezel is SS as well, vice the black raven. SS Pro II bracelet. Dial is black and I believe it will be limited to 500 pieces. MSRP - $4500. Good stuff for Naval Aviators! FYI.

Also, I asked about when the next Emergency is coming out. They did not know, and said the technology is still being developed and it might not be out until 2012. More to follow...

-Don

That's good news about the Airwolf as IMO the logo versions have the best looking dials of all the variants. And it'll be great with the SS bezel as the I personally hate the Raven versions.

Is that the actual design Sharkmouth? I Like the emblem and dial. They went back to the older minute hand?

That is the correct dial... The watch will be launched Feb of 2011 with 500 pieces. Pensacola is the home of Naval Aviation and the Blue Angels. We had the only piece in the USA at the Blue Angels Homecoming airshow in November. The rest were being engraved in Switzerland. Breitling is doing some amazing stuff with the US Navy in 2011 and we are lucky to be in the heart of it all here in Pensacola.

They will be literally flying out of the door here! Military aviation is at the core of my business and Breitling has stepped huge with Naval Aviation and the Centennial 2011 year!

No, just a Photoshop job using a stock photo Airwolf and a logo from the USN site.

Good to read from Bere4421's post above it's close to the real thing!

I really like the logo-version Airwolfs. Without the dial texturing (sunburst or pinstrip), it gives the Airwolf a real functional look like the old B-1.

Yes, that is the exact dial the rep showed me. Definitely a nice watch and a unique piece for Naval Aviators! :lingsrock:

OK just visited a local AD and he has two of them one with pro diver band and one with pro diverII. Both around the price listed earlier by 46crew. He is offering a very good price on these (well below the price listed earlier) and all other stock. Should I get both and who wants the other one ha ha (seriously PM me)? The photo a couple posts back is what it looks like.
