I had wondered how may turns per day my Navi 01 should have in order to stay wound without over-winding.

This is a trial-and-error kind of ordeal, because Orbita (for example) has not researched this.

So I tried the lowest auto-reversing setting on my Orbita winder, which is 500 TPD. Then the tough part: I left the watch untouched/unworn in the winder for two weeks (oh the temptations to give up the experiment! :( )

The good news is the watch has kept perfect time for two weeks at 500 TPD. If you own an Orbita, the switch settings (1234) are down, down, down, up.

Best,
Tom
