Post subject:  A new SQ movement?

I purchased a very nice looking B-1 from a fellow forum member early this month. He had just got it back from BUSA after a nice overhaul. The top item on the worksheet provided was a movement transplant! I've looked all over the net and a call to BUSA only revealed it replaced the E20.331.

This is how it appears:

Item number: 700.E20.351.5
Description: Movement Chronometer, CAL. E20.351, 13 1/4"', 9J

I must say that the time it keeps is spot on after 3 weeks. I am really curious what changes they made and if this will be the B88 successor to the B68 and B78. So, has anyone else run into this new movement yet?

It's the Breitling 78 replacement for the original 68.

No idea why they call it 20.351, there's no such thing. Breitling 78 is an ETA 20.341, 75 is a 10.351.

Per BreitlingSource section on “Movements & Calibers”

B68… Base Movement: ETA E20.331
B78… Base Movement: ETA Thermoline E20.341

My replacement B-1 movement... Cal. E20.351
[I confirmed it with BUSA tech]
[Unless my math is off or we use fuzzy logic, 20.341=20.351? I don’t buy it. Maybe the B78 actually is the E20.351, not 341. I didn't want to argue with the tech guy with the accent.]

I hope someone can un-confuse me or call BUSA themselves...

I understand what you are saying, but ETA don't make a 20.351 to the best of my knowledge.
