Hey guys,

I have a choice to make I am stuck between choosing a Breitling sliver face Steelfish or a coral faced Superocean. Which ever one I purchased would be on a black calf skin strap. I love both but the problem is I can’t actually try these watches on since I have no AD near by. So I have to buy without ever seeing either watch. I am looking for a watch that is business professional since I will be graduating college within 6 months and entering the workforce. Does anybody have any recommendations?

Thank you
:?

At the risk of alienating the good doctor......

If this is your everyday watch then you are probably better off with the Steelfish. The Superocean is a great piece, but coral may be limiting for an everyday professional watch.

Coral is a great color, but certainly not what I would consider even remotely dressy... its probably the least dressy B you can buy imo..

That said, check this thread for some differences in case you are unfamiliar:

I agree the Steelfish is most likely the best way to go if you are going to use the watch for all occasions. For a look see try the Japanese site that was posted several days ago. Sorry guys I can't remember if Doc D or Driver posted the web site-I have turned feeble minded due to Ling fatigue  Some memory brain will remember and site the site again-I hope. :) Enjoy whichever watch you select :D

Thanks for all the responses. But is the Steelfish to bulky to wear with a suit? Or are there any other models that you would recommend for everyday business wear. That are in the same price category?

Thanks :D

Sadly even though I have a SO with coral dial and black strap, I must agree with the others that it probably is not as "business professional" as the Steelfish... However, just go with either one you want more!

It was me! :) www.breitling.co.jp Go to the "fitting section" - no prior knowledge of Japanese required!

And just to further alienate the Doc (soz Doc!) I'd recommend the Steelfish for a daily wear. I've owned two Steelfishes in the past and they slip under a shirt sleeve just fine forthe office.... (unless you have a penchant for hand constrictingly tight cuffs! )

I must admit, I usually wear my coral SO weekends and the like..the navi world, B1 or indeed any of my other watches are more business-like

however, if wearing short sleeves, the Coral Baby usually gets an outing!

my problem is too many watches and not enough wrists!

I wear my Steelfish with a suit every day and it doesn't feel or look bulky. IMO I would go with the Steelfish...it is an amazing watch and perfect for every occasion.

If choosing between these two the steelfish simply because of the colour of the dial.

Unless your line of profession is selling peanuts on a beach in the Caribbean (which happens to be my retirement plan) :D

STEELFISH! Goes great with my suit. No too big or bulky.
