:popo: Warning to Mfserge - TransOcean discussion to follow :popo:

After lots of debating and lots of staring at pics (and waiting to see what my bonus would be this year), I said the hell with it this morning (even though I still don't know what my bonus will be this year), strolled across the street to my AD and put in an order for a TransOcean LE. Mercury silver, brown croc on deployant. All contigent upon loving it in the metal once it comes in. Although something tells me I won't be disappointed.

They're expecting it in around Feb 15. It struck me as ironic that I'll be going to the jewelry store to pick up my new Breitling on my wife's birthday. :nono: I'm starting to think that it will be wise to have something else in the bag when I get home besides my new watch.

Congrats, I'm sure the wait won't be that bad.

Congrats - I really hope that this design cue continues, after some of the bizarre pieces this really does seem like a true 'classic'. Hope the wait isn't too long.

Thank you gentlemen. And come on Elwyn, there's safety in numbers!

Roff, I agree - there is a timeless/classic look to this piece that really appealed to me. I thought about waiting to see what came out of Basel, but my gut tells me that I will be disappointed with the new (or more likely, not so new :? ) offerings.

Maybe you could offer up that new Breitling cap to your wife

Congrats, interesting to see the silver dial in real pics.

I sure as hell better be getting something better than another hat!

I actually complained (in a good-humored way) to my AD a couple of weeks ago when I first went in to talk about the TransOcean that I've bought 3 Breitlings and I've received 3 hats. He called me back the next day asking for the serial #'s on the three that I've purchased, said he called his Breitling rep, and that I would be getting a goodie package in the mail. Still waiting.....

I'm just - not - quite - there yet. I'm scared of the B01 boogeyman. I think I'll wait around and see how it goes with yours and if A-OK then it's my turn. :D

Yeah, I know the feeling. I've gotten two hats and a pocket knife. The transocean should be worth something more! Good luck.

I certainly know how you feel about the B01 boogeyman. If Stefan has another problem in the next 2 weeks with his Navi 01, I'll be cancelling the order pronto!

In the meantime, I'll be staring at this  :
