Hi guys,

Recently I saw a Superocean with a white or silver face and a professional bracelet, here on the forum somewhere and for the life of me I can't find it again, but I'd like another look at one.

Maybe when I get my Colt GMT back (if I get it back) from repairs then I could trade up. Not a huge change in appearance but a bit bigger and perhaps more robust.

Any thoughts guys?

Oh no, does this mean I may have caught some sort of addiction? 8)

Dave

I think this is the one you are asking about. It's a sliver faced Steelfish:

I just bought a SO Steelfish with a silver dial and Professional bracelet. I will be posting pictures soon. For a little extra cash, go for the Steelfish instead of the regular Superocean.

Good luck with your purchase

Yeah that's it, the Superocean Steelfish. That is stunning with that color face.
Hmmmm what to do?

ISELVWS,
Is yours the same style face? I think there is an '08 model or maybe it's the standard Superocean I am thinking of.
I'll look forward to seeing some photos.

Cheers
Dave

The 08 superocean is updated, but as far as i know, the steelfish is unchanged.

Perhaps it was manufactured in 08, but its not a true 08 as I dont believe they are out yet.. Mine is an 08 manufacture date as well but not really an 08 as far as I know.

By the way, you know you can get the manufacture week and year if you remove the 6 oclock side of the strap and see the engraved numbers on the case.

Yes, the addiction seems to have struck you... :) If I were you I'd save up for the SO and buy it - trading in a Colt would be at a loss, at least where I'm located. The loss would just not make it worth the trade, better to buy the SO right off.
