Post subject:  Breiting Wind Rider Crosswind

I own a Breitling crosswind and I am unsure what the actual case diamater is, there are so many different variations that I have seen, for example when I brought my Breitling Crosswind it indicated 43.7mm but I have seen the Case diamaters advertised on Ebay and elswhere 42mm, 44mm (Excluding the crown) can anyone please give me the correct case Diamater of the Breitling Crosswind.
My Breitling Has the words Printed under the Breitling logo BREITLING chronometre crosswind this is next to the date window now my boss has the exact same watch but his says BREITLING chronometre Automatic Can anyone please tell me what the difference between "if any" the two watches, my bosses watch also appears to be larger in diamater than mine for some reason is this the true or not

The regular Crosswind and the Crosswind Racing were both 42.7mm. There may have been slight variations in the wording from year to year, but the usual Crosswind racing is Breitling Chronometre Crosswind and the wording of the very similar Crosswind Racing is Breitling 1884 Crosswind Chronometre Automatic.

The Crosswind Special was 43.7mm, but that's a very different looking watch with a big date at 12 o'clock.
