Hi Guys

Considering picking up a two tone chronomat from 2006 but i am worried that service costs of a watch with a high proportion of gold in it would be high.

I recently picked up an evolution which is a BUK the service is costing over £900

Your experiences here would be appreciated

Thanks

Servicing costs should be no different for TT than for SS - the movement's the same and that's the real cost. Full service includes case refinishing, but gold can be polished just as easily (if nor more easily) than steel. A GBP900 service would have involved additional item - service costs are posted on Breitling's site and are nowhere near that high.

Chronomat service is £147.00 and £372 for a complete overhaul. Two tone cases have no surcharge. Watches made of gold and Platinum incur a 35% surcharge.

Yip

sorry I didn't make myself clear, I picked up a pre owned chronomat and on having it serviced BUK found that it needed new crystal and a new case. (I am also having the dial switched).

I am now concerned that if I go for this watch any parts like the above will be more expensive.

Also I think the hands maybe gold and think these will be replaced on a service.

Thanks

John
