Hi All, I am new to the board and did a quick search on the Diamond District in NYC and didn't come up with much. Does anyone have any dealer they had good experience with there? I am looking for a Navitimer and since I'm close by, I wanted to check the kind of pricing I can get on 47th before going with an AD. Thanks in advance. |

I've been there before but before I got serious about watches. As far as diamonds are concerned, unless you really know your stuff, I felt like they were ready to take advantage of the buyers. For example, they told me they were giving me the lowest price anywhere. As I walked out they ran after me ( out the door) and reduced it tremendously. Really shady. I'm sure if you walk in with authority and lots of knowledge things may be different. There's a few ADs in the area that I'm sure people here can recommend, but not specifically in the diamond district. |

I know how awful it is over there and you can certainly walk out of the "tunnel" between 5th and 6th feeling like you need a shower. I guess that was why I hoping someone here may have actually managed to have a good experience with a dealer over there. |

If you are near the diamond destrict why don't you just go to breitlings new store that is only a few blocks away? IMO, much better off to spend the couple extra dollars and get an authorized piece. |

Contact member "FEAR" and he will go out of his way to help you. Great guy to deal with. My 2 cents, buy from an AD and buy out of State (no taxes). |
