Any issues buying from an AD in the caribbean, specifically St. Bart's? My reason for asking is a local watch salesman (not Breitling) told me never to buy abroad as many times the movements are inferior. He said Rolex was the exception. I am traveling to St Barth's in April and they have an authorized Breitling dealer (along with other nice brands). I can probably do as well in pricing in the US fron the right AD but was just wondering if I should not even consider buying when I am there. Thanks. |

The guy doesn't know what he is talking about, Breitlings are the same wherever they are sold. However, in the multiple threads in the past about buying in the Caribbean the consensus seems to be that you can negotiate a better deal in the US. |
