I purchased my Avenger Skyland in 2008 from my local AD. Since then, I've browsed this forum from time-to-time...but, lately I've visited a lot more frequently, as I am planning to purchase a new Breitling. After reading some threads about registration/Breitling gifts, I began to wonder if my AD ever sent in my registration card. To make a long story short, a couple of weeks ago, I contacted Breitling USA, gave them my serial number, and asked if my watch had been properly registered. Turns out my AD never sent in my information...so, after providing Breitilng USA with copies of my papers/docs/etc, they were able to "officially" register my watch in my name. Well, I thought that was the end of it...but when I came home from work today, there was a nice Breitling ball cap waiting for me in the mail! Thanks, Breitilng for your professionalism! And to my AD that never sent in my info...maybe that's one of the reasons you are no longer an AD ![]() Andy ![]() |

The good news is that you got it registered before buying the next one. Otherwise they would have thought that the new one was your first and youd get a hat from them. Now theyll know its your second and theyll send you something different this time. |

Do all ADs register when you buy a Breitling from them? I bought one last year and the AD didn't ask me for my details, so I'm assuming he didn't have me registered (hence I have no free gifts ![]() I'm from the UK so maybe it's different to the US? |

I have moved since my first one and my second is on it's way to my AD, and although I'd be fine with another hat, it would be cool to get some other item. |

Maybe give them a call or email and ask them. It seems like gift #2 is usually a pocket knife. |

No registration in the UK, and no gifts. You can give your AD a call and see if they have anything to give you though. Breitling sends stuff to ADs once in a while and they can give it out to whomever they choose. |

I have moved since my first one and my second is on it's way to my AD, and although I'd be fine with another hat, it would be cool to get some other item." My advice: Be proactive about the procedure. If, after six months, you have had no contact from BUSA, contact them. On a personal note: I have been collecting Breitling for more than two decades. I can recall when Marie had the BUSA offices in Stamford, CT and the offices had no safe. Therefore, she brought home many pieces to store safely at night. Obviously, things have changed drasticaly over the years. My point is, I own quite a number of Breitlings, and depite working with multiple AD's over the years, I occasionaly had to check on registrations. Recently, I sat with someone @ BUSA to make sure that ALL my Breitlings were registered in my name. I found that a few had slipped throught the cracks. The point: don't depend on the AD. Not everyone is as professional as, say, George from Govbergs (or any number of others who frequent here). Most see it as a job and perform just enough not to lose said job. Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack this thread. edited for my redundant content |

They are not interested in you once you've bought it. When you send it in for a service it obviously gets registered to you (only so they can charge you) and again that's it, period. Stef |
