This seems as useless as the 6.75 with the diamonds on the caseback.

For that price, I could get a Blackbird and a Rolex GMT-Master IIc, and still have enough left over to pay the cleaning bill I'm going to have as a result of throwing up all over my house after looking at that new Bentley. But hey - to each his own.

Diamonds are not this man's best friend, so I won't be rushing out to sign up for it, but I actually prefer that to the blingy diamond bezels. At least that is relatively understated as diamonds go (yes, I know a diamond encrusted 49mm polished DLC watch isn't subtle).

This is in a different class to the diamond works pieces in my opinion.

I was at Andrew Michaels yesterday when one of these arrived.

It isn't as gross as you may think. Still not my cup of tea though. I'd prefer to spend the extra cash on complications, etc. Sam was quite taken by it though. I do worry about him.

I think there's a couple of typos in your post there RJ. I think you accidentally wrote "pretty" instead of "goddamn", and you accidentally wrote "slick" instead of "hideously disgusting and a crime against all things tasteful"! :poke:

16k for black diamonds? Wow it looks like Breilting is taking advice from Big Baby and Lil Wayne now. I will pass on the bling bling.

Or it could be he accidentally typed, "that things looks pretty slick," when he actually meant to type, "that thing makes me pretty sick."

I'm with you RJ, not usually my cup of tea but I quite like it. Understated might be the wrong word but it's certainly less suttle than some of the cack that gets posted here! :D

Cheers
