Hi everyone,

I have just joined the forum - been looking for some info on Superocean and already found a great deal of advice here... I read quite a lot of posts already, quite a few similar to mine here, so it is not my intention to spam... Just wanted to know if you guys would have any useful information or suggestion for me...

Ok - I fell in love with the Superocean model, steel bracelet and yellow dial. Went to Abu Dhabi and hoped for a good deal to be found, unfortunately I never found anything there close to what I had been promised by people who bought their Breitlings there quite a few years ago - I guess it is not that cheap over there anymore... Anyway, I now want to buy them in the UK. First I had been considering buying a pre - owned model, but after reading some really bad experience of some buyers I think I do not have the balls to risk it. I suppose I would go for a second hand one only if they were sold by an AD, in great condition and complete with all the paperwork including the original purchase papers, so that I can maybe send them directly to Breitling for service/polishing/cleaning in the future. From what I read here on this forum, I wouldn´t be able to do that without the original papers...

So there I am, after my first Breitlings, asking you guys for any piece of advice on where or from who to get it... I will defo try to contact Andrew Michael directly, from what I have read here he should be the guy. Also I read he holds quite a few pre - owned ones as well, guess he would be the one to buy second hand one from. Will give it a shot...

I also read an AD could be maybe able to give me some discount, someone said here it could be up to 30 %... Naturally, I would love to find the best deal possible...

If you guys could give me any contacts, advice, help, that would be very very very much appreciated...

The SuperOcean was discontinued last year and replaced wit hteh SuperOcean II. You'll likely still find some new ones at ADs, but you may need to shop around. You are highly unlikely to get 30% off in the UK, but your best bet is to contact Banks Lyon and / or Andrew Michaels - links to both at the top of the page.

Thanks! I know it was discounted last year, I am really working on it at the moment, do not want to miss them:) It looks there still is plenty of the around, so I think I should be able to get one for me within weeks/months...

Will for sure contact BL and AMJ directly...

It was discontinued last year, and the model you posted was discontinued a few years back (2 dial changes since then and a bracelet change to Pro II).
