Post subject:  Limited edition Breitlings what kind of value !

Hi guys Im interested to know a value of this watch, with them being limited edition only 1994 made,

im more interested in the D13050 model comes with 18k gold bezel and two tone ss/18k pilot braclet.

Many thanks

A limited edition of 1994 watches is released to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the modern Chronomat. It has an 18K yellow gold Breitling wings logo on the dial although it does not have the other later dial updates. It has a special engraved back with a relief image of the Aermacchi MB-339A used by the Frecce Tricolori that appeared on the case back in 1984.

Question 2 - http://www.breitlingsource.com/articles_faq.shtml#8

LE has very little impact on residual value, especially when the numbers aren't particularly limited.

LE certainly does seem to influence asking price though. :|

For sure, but that's because people have unrealistic expectations. LEs have a $ bump over non LE, but not really percentage wise. It's also largely a recent thing with LEs commanding a big premium over standard models when new.

It's not a big deal (at least for me)

The fact that while a lot of folks may have a Ling, if you have one of the LE's you know you won't see a lot of folks wearing what's yours. Being limited should limit how much you wear it as well. Wear your Rolex on regular days. Keep the Ling for special occassions.

I disagree.

Breitling LEs are typically 1,000 (or more) for example Chrono Matic 24, 1,000 LE I have one and have seen posts fromtwo guys within the last month. And this is not a new LE.
If LEs were 200 different story maybe, but lets face it how many Breitlings do you see in the wild on a normal day anyway.

Oh and welcome to the Forum WTWINC.
