Good aft Gents.

Just pondering.

Questions:
1) How many of you Breitlingers wear one an a daily basis?
2) Do you ever worry you might be mugged for it?

Thanks for your comments.

I wear a nice watch daily, not always a Breitling and I am never concerned about being mugged, but then I don't go through high risk areas.

Paging Count, paging count to the Breitling discussion forum. He can share some wonderful insight on your second question.

I don't wear mine daily, I like to change it up.

Wow, I was not aware that BS offered a paging service or indeed that pagers still existed!

I wear a Breitling daily and do not worry about being mugged.

That's one way to go, I leave mine at home when commuting into Philly - everywhere is high risk

I wear a nice watch every day (in nice areas). When I travel for work I can get a little nervous in some areas, but so far, so good...

I wear my on a daily basis. Not afraid of getting mugged. Have insurance. Even though we've had a lot of shootings here in Malmoe, 10 just this year, they're all gang/mafia related so I'm not concerned. Forgot to mention that it's a town with 300 000 residents.

Basically it's sort of a different mentality in Sweden. Since almost everyone could afford a nice watch or a Porsche it really doesn't get all that attention with a Breitling on your wrist. Those different colored plastic watches catches more eyes. Strange huh?

Also from Philly. Agreed on the high risk. Hence number 2.

All these Philly guys here.....I'm part time in Philly and when commuting on septa and walking through suburban station late at night leaving work when the crowd is pretty sparse, I'll sometimes take the watch off and have it in my backpack. Commuting in Manhattan I've never felt unsafe with it on. But I still definitely wear a nice watch everyday because what's the point of having them if I'm not enjoying them :)

I was a bit worried at first as I found myself thinking "I have thousands of pounds worth of watch strapped to my wrist and I'm asking for trouble" but now I wear mine daily and don't worry about it as I don't think most people notice watches at all, and even fewer will know how much it's worth. Having said that it is also insured and I won't be wearing it for an upcoming trip abroad, just in case!

Philadelphia isn't that bad - it's like any other city. Just keep your head up and you're fine.

I don't wear my Cockpit daily, but I don't balk at wearing a nice watch out and about. I think things like smart phones and purses have bigger targets on them because they are known to have value. If I polled 100 people about the cost of my Breitling, 99 of them wouldn't be anywhere near the right answer. I just believe a thief would be more eager to grab my cash than anything else.

Or at least that's how I sleep well at night!

Wearing a Breitling in high risk areas is my extreme sport.

Agreed, I'm not saying Philly is that bad. I only take it off when I'm leaving work at close to midnight and downtown around the train station doesn't come off feeling like the safest area. Besides that, I don't worry about it ever.
