Evening all, Just wondered if any of you gents knew the reasoning behind the crown on my chrono-matic being on the wrong side of the watch? Is it purely an aesthetic / historical design thing, or was there any practical purpose to it at all? Thanks in advance folks Jim |

In the original 1969 chronomatics it was done to address the challenges they had in the movement design. |

My father always wore his on the inside of his wrist. He was a Navigator in RAF Bomber Command during the war and by wearing them on the inside of the wrist he could time turns while looking at the maps without having to move. Very important if the plane had a little extra 'ventilation' from when it had first taken off. |
