Okay, after a few weeks of bullying from the Ling cartel :twisted: here is the DATED photographic proof that I have swapped out the leather strap for the bracelet.

As if it wasnt enough that I promised the bracelet was back on the ringleader demanded dated photographic proof that it had been done - thought I'd better get the picture done as soon as I got back from my holidays - I don't want to antagonise them again :oops:

(You new guys better make sure you keep in line)

Lingman...this is for you :D

Mossy,

Welcome back. GOOD MOVE now all you need is a polish job and you will be approaching Whole Ling Club membership. I hope you had a great vacation.

Vacation was good thanks, but after two whole weeks full time with my satanic offspring, I'm glad to be back.

I still love the leather - but its nice having the bracelet back on again and I will admit to a slight grin when I admired it on my wrist again.

Summers started here and the leather was getting a little uncomfortable anyway.

Would I get a whole ling with a polish job?? CA is only 22 at the lugs, or would it get a special dispensation because of its thickness and chunky pushers?

Surely the white dial gets me 1/16th of a ling too

Found a white dial titanium UTC on ebay Gernmany - only £270!!! Bargain!! I mentioned it to the wife but just 2 days after our vacation my timing was all wrong :cry:

Mossy,

You should look into a Super Avenger. I think the Super Avenger is the most bang for the buck in Breitlings. They look great and they are not that expensive for what you are getting. My Bentley was $7275 USD after tax with a discount. You can get a Super Avenger with a good discount for about $3600 USD about half the price of a Bentley Motors Ling. It takes a little while to get used to the thickness of it but once that's over it's one Hell of a LING

I did, the SA was my first choice, but as i've said in other posts I really prefered the lightweight CA once it was on, also the SA I was going to buy was a white dial so it did look huge. It must be my english reserve kicking in but at the time I really felt the CA was the one for me and I tried a few different models on before making my mind up.....

SA = too big
B2 = too busy
NAV = felt like i'd break it
CA = just right

I'm still a big fan of the SA and always will be. I dunno, maybe one day I will trade up. Like youve said before you get used to it, and i've already started to think the CA is looking a little on the small side. If they made an SA in Titanium i'd be really tempted.
