Well, all these discussions about the new dial on the SA spurred me on to pull the trigger on the black dial / bracelet SA that I saw a week or so back lurking in an AD's window. Not my usual AD, so I only managed a very small discount, but given the difficulty of getting hold of the black dial at the mo, I'm surprised I managed any! :)

I think I've well and truely blown my 2008 watch budget in recent weeks, so I think this may be my last purchase for a while. :( (Unless I can see 6.75 for good money..... or maybe a SOHC when it comes out..... or a Seawolf Steel.... or..... or..... :lol: )

Driver8,

Good move now all you need to do is get rid of the BROWN strap on the white dial SA. If you MUST have a strap at least get a Black one but better yet just BURN the strap and put the SA on the bracelet it belongs on. In any event you are safe now because you have 2007 SA with ArAbic Numerals.

Hi Driver 8.....it must be contagious.....for the same reason I 'had' to pick up a new Super Avenger White and a Yellow Seawolf.....not knowing where the pricing is going....seemed like the 'right' thing to do......didn't ever think I would buy two in a day.......but this Breitling thing is awfully compelling.

Also dealt with a new AD - and I live 1500 miles away from the AD.....but they like you just the same.

Damn, I have been looking into buying a SA with black dial myself with no luck as they are out for 5-6 months according to the AD near me. Only thing is i want it on a bracelet. Great pick up.

Yeah I am pretty pleased about scoring an 07 black dial in time Naviman. I'm loving those contrasting sub-dials!

Congrats! I have the same watch and it is awesome huh. Nice contrast with the subdials. Lingman and I were at our local AD Saturday and they had a black faced SA with a diamond bezel that looked awesome. The salesman proceeded to lie his AS* off about adding a bezel on(he really wanted to sell a watch that day I guess). He said that if you add a diamond bezel on it would not be waterproof anymore and that you can't get a diamond bezel from Breitling unless you buy the watch with it on already!! Thinking back on it Lingman and I should have beaten him just on principal haha!!
