I've been looking at various Headwinds that show up on the market and I notice that some cases are polished and some are brushed. Did they come both ways when they were new? Did it switch from one to the other at some point in time? Anything else you can tell me about it?

They came in both polished and brushed finish SS as well as gold.

Brushed was "special version" and it came in SS only.
