Post subject:  Just sent my colt in for servicing

My colt is over 5 years old, so I decided to sent it to Breitling USA in CT for a maintenance. So far, they are quite nice, sent me an email confirmation upon receiving my watch and tested the accuracy of my watch. The gaining time is 7 seconds per day.

I was just wondering how is everyone's experience with Breitling USA? So far, mine has been very good, just waiting for my Colt to be returned to me.

Hey what's the turn around time?

I've never gotten an email (well, no one ever asked for my address either) with status, but generally my experience with Breitling service has been good, except for that one time when they buffed the back too aggressively and just about wiped out the serial number.

I assume that you had to send it to them via an AD, not yourself directly. As a fellow Colt owner, I'm interested to hear what the service costs you.

THe watch is currently still at BUSA, they will send me an email on Monday 01/03 for an estimation and the turn around time

Yes, I had to ask an AD to send in the watch for me and I am also expecting an email about their estimation cost on 01/03. Hopefully it won't be too much.
