Hi all, I just noticed that my Colt GMT (less than a year old) minute and hour hands are stopping while the seconds hands continues as normal. I readjusted the time and date per instruction booklet, let the watch run out of power reserve and re-wound it, but an hour later the hour and minute hands stopped again. I need help on this folks. This is the first time I have noticed something like this with any of my watches. ![]() |

IE. as in could the two hand be hitting off each other as a result of a knock or bang. |

If the second hand is running then the running train is operating normally and the minute and hour wheels are turning. That means that the problem must be with the hands not being positioned correctly on the arbors in which case they are fouling one another or on an arbor being bent. Either way it needs Breitling attention. |

I had the identical problem with my Colt GMT after I had it for about 6 or 7 months. My AD sent it off to Breitling. 10 weeks and a basic service later, it came back. Picked it up from the AD, and the very next day the problem started again. Brought it back immediately, and off it went to Breitling again. This time they performed a full service, and I haven't had any problems since. Here is the original post (it's why I joined this forum in the first place!) viewtopic.php?f=12&t=4633 |
