I stopped by my AD duing my lunch break today and got a close-up look at the Nativimer 01 Limited, Chronomat 01 Limited and the SuperOcean II today. Man, those are some sweet pieces.

The Chronomat looked great with the brushed finish, black dial and red subdial hands. It has a very substantial presence.

The SO took me a little by surprise. In photos it looks a little toy-ish in a way, but it really is nice and beefy. It felt and looked great on the wrist!

I really liked the Navitimer. Very refined and kind of understated, but the red chrono second hand and the red date gives it a bit of pop. Very comfortable and the display back just fits right in there style-wise.

Just the other day I was wondering what to get myself for xmas. Perhaps i need look no further?

You'd be smitten with any of those 3. The Chronomat 01 Limited has such presence, just by looking you can feel the quality.

Those are without a doubt 3 of the hot models right now! You can't go wrong with any of them!

I would go with the Navitimer. That is a timeless piece that is.

Nice to see crow as your avatar

Cheers!

Great pickup. Congrats, that's a pretty low number as well. Looking forward to seeing some pics, I can't get enough of that watch.

Just jokin. I dont care either way. But damn that is a low number for "off the shelf".

Congrats. Its a great watch. I can't wait to get home and start wearing mine again. :lingsrock:

3 of 2000? WOW!!!! If I didn't already own one, that would be worth the extra effort to have it sent from Europe.

Yeah, 21'500 Swiss francs or about $22k

But the first time I dropped by he also had no 3/2000 priced at CHF 8'200 or about $8.8k

Hehe. Well, you know what they say: All good things come to those who don't bother to wait but just drop in on a whim.
