Further to upsetting anyone in here who obviously knows more about Breitlings than i ever will i would like to put my two bits worth in......as a newbie ,novice call it what you will.
A product i use in the car cleaning side of my interests that cleans polished stainless steel better than almost any of the other products, i have adapted to getting rid of swirls and scratches on my bracelets and watch cases, i do find Cape Cod to be good for polishing the finished product but its a long time and lots of rubbing to get any scratches out of a piece.
My method is to put half inch of Solvol paste on a soft cloth, then mix in a small amount of water then gently rub the compound on the affected area using a "same way" stroke this i have found takes out all the swirls and depending on the thickness of your selected paste most scratches too.........i have also used as an initial application using the same method without water an old favourite called Brasso..........remembering of course to cover the crystal with masking tape..........finish either method with the cape Cod if you think you need more shine..........Hope it helps
