I think that I translate that to can people with small wrists wear large watches. If that's the case then if you think it looks good then it's fine - Not sure what size "6-6.8" is but if the lugs aren't hanging over your wrist then it will be OK and who cares what other people think.

I highly doubt it, IMO, the SOH 46 wears small anyway. My wrists are 7 inches and it looks fine. :lingsrock:

You should go to an AD and spend some time with it, see how it looks and feels, you're really the only one that can answer the question, if the watch is for you.
Enjoy the process of buying, it's a great one.

I am short and the carry 6.75 on the wrist. The SOH looks and feels great with the rubber strap. Not sure about the bracelet.

I firmly beleive that this is the watch for small writed guys to get in on the big watch train. Absolutely perfect fit.

Ultimately only you can decide if a watch is too big for you or not. If you think it is, then it probably is. If you think it isn't too big, then who cares what anyone else thinks.

My rule of thumb is as long as the lugs don't overhang the side of my wrists then it's usually fine, but plenty of people with small wrists are totally comfortable wearing watches where the lugs stick out a mile. Only you can decide I'm afraid.

Whether or not a watch looks good or not depends on what you think. Personally I have 7.5 inch wrists and I thought that the SA looks dumb on me but there are plenty of people with smaller wrists that think that they look good. It's pretty much different from person to person, a lot of it has to do with the confidence that the person wearing it has that it looks good. The best thing you can do is go to an AD and try one on, walk around the store for a couple of minutes and try to see what it looks like with your arm hanging at a natural angle. Good luck with whatever you choose.

For my taste, if the lugs are wider than the wrist... then it makes you look like a cartoon and unless you just signed a contract as a rap artist, then you should probably wear a watch that fits your wrist and while your at it...take off the rest of the "gansta" uniform (i.e., flat rim hats and pants that expose your entire rear end). But to each his own... :)

Wear the watch to impress one person......yourself. No one else really matters and you definitely shouldn't be buying or wearing a watch to impress others.

That's a pretty big spread there. 6.8 inches is almost seven inches, so your wrist size is not "about 6 - 6.8 inches." That's like saying your collar size is about 15 or 16 inches. Try wearing a 15 inch collar when you have a 16 inch neck and you'll strangle yourself. And an inch difference on a wrist is even more extreme. A 46mm watch will look quite different on a 6.8 inch wrist than it will on a six inch wrist, all other things being equal. You might want to measure again to get a more accurate number.

In the end, though, numbers are fairly academic, as they're not a completely accurate guide to how a watch will look on a person. Factors such as arm length, bulk, weight, etc., can really affect the perception of watch size on a given person. The best advice has already been given here: if you can, try on the watches you're considering and see what you think. Just keep in mind it can sometimes be hard to tell how a watch is going to "wear" on you until you have lived with it for a while. Figuring that out at an AD can be a challenge. If it were me, I would err on the side of caution. As a person who has a 6.5 inch wrist, if I have a suspicion a watch might be too big or heavy when I'm trying it on, there's a good chance it will be too big and heavy once I've worn it for a while.

Best of luck.

My wrist is just under 6.75 inches and the SOH was fine on me, the lugs didn't hang over the edge of the wrist (shape of your wrist makes a difference to this though). I'm not a small guy despite my wrist size - that makes a difference too.

Buy it and if it's too big, H2F will take it off your hands.

I agree with the others. As long as the lugs don't hang too much you should be fine. I have small wrists too (6.5 inches) and my SO wears fine and its 42mm. However, you should most def go to your local AD and try them on to see how it looks. Having said that I have tried a SA and the way it sat on my wrist didn't please me. At the end of the day, as long as you are happy with it, that's what counts. I also think the strap makes a difference. Are you thinking of going with bracelet, leather, rubber, etc...?

Good point there. A fat dude with smaller wrist, if that's even possible, can pull off a bigger watch that a skinny dude with small wrists, in theory. It still comes down to how you feel that it looks.

A fat dude with smaller wrists sounds paradoxical, and yet I've seen posts from members who say they are "stocky" and have 6.5 inch wrists or smaller. My left wrist is 6.5 inches and bony; I also have medium-sized hands, long arms and a medium-sized frame, and look on the slim side. I can't get away with a watch much bigger than 43mm, if that. 41-42mm is ideal. Case thickness plays a part, too. I had a Chronomat Evo, and with its 17mm thickness, it just sat up way too high and would press into the bones on my wrist. Not only did it look too big, but it hurt, too. Somebody with the same size wrists probably could have gotten away with it if his wrist was flatter, his arms were shorter, and his build a little stockier. So yeah, there are a lot of other factors besides wrist circumference that come into play.
