In regards to the Rolex Submariner reference 5510 Story posted by George at Govbergs on his blog last week or so.... Are there any Breitling's out there that do or will (possibly) have the same substantial jump in price in the future? And, what would make the price jump so high....would it have to be a limited edition of some sort that was worn in a blockbuster hit movie or something?

Just thinking....

Find an elusive 1952 Navitimer with full provenance and original box and papers.

Now what would make that one in particular so valuable?

But Breitling maintains that they started in 1952. It's a very long story.

I've read some of the story, but tought several of the "experts" on the subject have taken the 54' opinion. I guess there are still some on the 52'!
